The launcher
between Steam
and your game.

Harbor is a white-label launcher that drops in next to your game on Steam, Epic, or GOG. When a player hits Play, they see your patch notes, news, and dev comments, then the game launches normally. It's the best moment you'll ever get to reach your players, and Harbor makes it yours.

See it in action

Harbor, in a real game.

A player presses Play, sees your patch notes, news, and a note from you, then the game launches. The whole flow, start to finish.

Why Harbor

You’re shipping updates your players never see.

You post a patch note on Steam. You announce a beta in Discord. You celebrate a launch on X or Bluesky, and no single player sees all of it. Here’s where your reach leaks out:

Not everyone's in your Discord.

Your server reaches the fans you already have, not the ones quietly drifting away.

Steam's news feed goes unread.

Most players never open the news tab. Your patch notes are live, and almost nobody sees them.

Epic and GOG give you nothing.

No patch notes, no news feed, no announcements. There is no built-in way to reach your players or keep up any communication on those stores. None at all.

Some players just launch from the shortcut.

They skip the storefront entirely. There’s no page left to reach them on.

Everyone who owns your game
reached not

Scattered across Steam, Discord, and your socials, you reach only a fraction.

But every one of them presses Play.

That launch is the one moment you’re guaranteed their attention, every session. Harbor puts your patch notes, news, dev comments, and every social link right there, every time they play. It’s how a one-time buyer becomes a regular, and a regular becomes a lifelong fan who follows you to your next game.

What is Harbor

A surface you own, at the moment that matters.

Your players already open your game several times a week. Harbor turns that launch moment into a channel you control. Show a patch note, drop a beta invite, or just say something in your own voice. It's the part of the player relationship the storefront keeps for itself.

  • It sits between the storefront and your game

Steam, Epic, or GOG launches Harbor; Harbor launches your game. Nothing about how players start your game changes.

  • Fully white-label

Your name, logo, colors, fonts, and play button. There is no Harbor branding shown to your players, ever.

  • Zero player install

Harbor ships as a file alongside your build. Players don't download anything, sign in to anything, or know it's there.

FAQ

Things devs ask us.

Do players install Harbor, or do I?
You do. Harbor ships as harbor-launcher.exe alongside your build. Players never install anything separately. They launch your game the way they always have, and see your Harbor launcher instead of whatever was there before (or nothing).
Does it work with Steam, Epic, and GOG?
Yes. Harbor sits between the storefront and your game executable. Whatever launched your game before now launches Harbor, and Harbor launches your game. No storefront integration or approval is required to ship it. See exactly what Harbor does and doesn’t do →
How much does it change for my players?
One screen they can move past in a single click: your patch notes, news, and dev comments, then Play. They don't download anything, don't sign in, and there's no Harbor branding anywhere. You can set it to skip straight to the game for returning players.
What does it cost, and what about my players?
Harbor is billed to the studio, not the player. Pricing starts at $20/mo, with a $40/mo tier for advanced modules. The first design partners get six months free. Players pay nothing, see no ads, and we never sell their data.
When is Harbor shipping?
Targeting Q3 2026. We're onboarding a small group of design partners before then. Get on the list and you'll hear first, or read the early-access offer to come on as a partner now.
